Waldbillig

The municipality of Waldbillig is situated on a hill of 250m altitude. To the commune belong the localities of Waldbillig, Mullerthal, Haller and Christnach. Mullerthal is the village which gave its name to the entire region. Not far from here you can find the leftovers of the legendary fort of Heringen.

The waterfall "Schiessentümpel" is surely the most photographed motive of the region. Haller is a little flowery village, situated on the entry of the romantic valley of the Hallerbach. Waldbillig shelters the house of birth of the probably most known Luxembourgish author Michel Rodange. Christnach is considered as model village because of its beautifully conserved architecture.
